Vintage Westone Bendmaster Deluxe Electric Guitar Tremolo (S1I4 / S5A2)

Up for sale is a vintage NOS (New old stock) locking tremolo bridge. The Bendmaster Deluxe comes only as the bridge piece (no tremolo bar, locking nut or accessories). These have been in storage at SLM for decades and have finally been put up for sale here. They all have some warehouse dust on them but they are new old stock and have not been put on guitars yet. Why does this guitar have “used” on the back of the headstock? 

Sometimes the word "used" is lightly pressed into the back of the headstock and/or the serial number may be partially altered per manufacturer agreements.  For many, the "used" stamp is looked at as a sign of quality, giving confidence that a used instrument originating from MIRC has been properly set-up and refurbished by a professional tech.
